Wines Barbera d'Asti DOC and Moscato d'Asti DOC in Canelli

Our red and white wines form Piedmont
Canelli is located in the Asti region, famous throughout the world for the local production of Asti Spumante
We own a farmstead of 11 hectares of vineyards among the hills of Canelli where we grow Barbera, Dolcetto, Cortese and Moscato grapes. These vineyards have belonged to our family for four generations.
We also have a one-hectare vineyard of Moscato grapes in Santo Stefano Belbo located next to our villa which has belonged to our family for four generations.
Santo Stefano Belbo has become a Heritage of UNESCO, and is situated in the Langhe region famous for its truffles and the production of Barolo wine.

The tradition of growing vinejards and producing wine has been handed down from generation to generation, and Cristina's father Franco is a prestigious oenologist with a degree in oenology who ensures that our wines benefit from modern knowledge and excellent procedures.
Our wines are:
Barbera D'Asti DOC - Rich wine with an excellent bouquet and refined flavour. Ruby red in colour with orange hues. It has an ethereal bouquet with hints of currants, plums, cherries and wild berries, all blended together. It has to be decanted at least two hours before serving and it has to be served at a temperature between 20 and 22 degrees centigrade. It goes well with typical Piedmontese cuisine: "Agnolotti" - fresh pasta stuffed with braised meat. "Fritto Misto" -mixed fried meat. Grilled meats, meat dishes served with typical sauces and mature cheeses.
Chardonnay - One of the most exported dry wines from Piedmont in the world, with a clear, bright, straw-yellow colour. It has an intense bouquet, fruity in taste. Best served chilled between 8 and 10 degrees centigrade. It can be enjoyed at any time of the day with any kind of food.
Moscato D'Asti DOC - Moscato D'Asti has been produced in the Langhe and Monferrato region since the 12th century. A lively, bright, pale white wine with a wonderful fruity aroma. Sweet and fresh on the palate. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature between 8 and 10 degrees centigrade in dessert glasses to accompany dessert. Perfect with zabaglione, panna cotta and fruit or cream based desserts. DOC' means 'Denominazione Origine Controllata', whose acronym guarantees security in quality of production and origin (equivalent to 'Appellation Controllée' in France).
During the visit it is possible to taste and subsequently buy these wines.
